Abstract

In this paper, a robust VQ-based digital image watermarking scheme for noisy channel is proposed. Before the watermarking process, the genetic codebook partition technique is adopted for VQ codebook generation in order to get higher PSNR values between original and watermarked images, and then a new index partition algorithm is proposed to improve the bit-correct-rate of extracted watermarks. During the index transmission of watermarked image, a genetic algorithm based energy allocation scheme is adopted to resist the channel noise.
