Abstract

In this paper, we incorporate intelligence into Kolmogorov's ecological system, that is, we propose a fuzzy system to combine heuristic rules into the design of nonlinear adaptive controller, where the heuristic rules are in the form of fuzzy IF-THEN rules. By using Lyapunov synthesis approach, we attain an adaptive law adjusting the free parameters in the controller such that the closed-loop system follows a desired trajectory. Although there exist uncertainty and chaos in Komogorov's model, application shows that an adaptive fuzzy control is a powerful tool to pursuit sustainable development of ecology.
