Welcome to Torremolinos, Spain and the Second ACM International Workshop on Quality of Services and Security for Wireless and Mobile Networks (Q2SWinet 2006), which is held this year in conjunction with the 9th ACM International Symposium on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Wireless and Mobile Systems (MSWiM 2006), October 2-6, 2006.As the Co-Chairs of the 2nd ACM International Workshop on Quality of Services and Security for Wireless and Mobile Networks (Q2SWinet), we have done our best to provide you with a solid technical program. The aim of Q2SWinet 2006 is to provide a forum for researchers from both academia and industry to share and exchange their experiences, discuss challenges, and report the state-of-the-art and in-progress research on all aspects of QoS and Security for heterogeneous Wireless/Wired Networks.
