Abstract

A Markov Decision Process Model Based Handoff Management algorithm using interference control for next generation wireless systems (NGWS) was developed. This research is an extension of [1], which considers the different parameters of wireless networks, like power consumption, bandwidth, signaling, and switching and rerouting to make a handoff decision. We consider Signal-to-Interference ratio [4] as one more important parameter in wireless networks.
