In this paper checkpointing and rollback-recovery rVs-RYW protocol for mobile systems, which prevents system consistency from client's perspective is presented. The recovery protocol is integrated with the underlying consistency protocol ensuring Read Your Writes session guarantee, which uses server-based version vectors.
