Nowadays, few efforts have been dedicated to the design of specialized graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for elderly people despite the fact that they have computer interaction problems with the WIMP standard (Windows, Icons, Menus, and Pointers). This research goes one step further, proposing and evaluating a penbased interaction technique based on to draw simple lines that improves the computer usability for novice older users.
