Abstract

QoS (Quality of Service) multicast routing is essential in NGI (Next-Generation Internet). Due to the difficulty on exact measurement and complete expression of NGI network status, the QoS multicast routing should be based on the fuzzy information. With the gradual commercialization of the network operation, the users prefer to get the best services with the least cost at the same time the network providers pursue the most profits, thus the so-called win-win should be supported. In this paper, by introducing the microeconomics knowledge and the fuzzy integral, a QoS multicast routing scheme is proposed based on the Prim algorithm. It tries to make both the network provider utility and the user utility achieve or approach the Pareto optimum under the Nash equilibrium along the found route with the user QoS requirements satisfied. Simulation results have shown that the proposed scheme is both feasible and effective with better performance.
