Abstract

The paper presents an adaptive mechanism through a new plugins technology on software components and information sources. It integrates the emerging service oriented architecture with business application environments, which are extended to support dynamic collaborative applications. A component based system INDEX was used to help carry out the experiments. Design and implementation details have been provided.
