Abstract

Now that the field of 3D computer graphics has come of age, 3D artists have sophisticated tools at their fingertips for designing complex games, stunning effects, beautiful scenes, or to reveal the secrets of nature. At the same time, 3D software programs are an excellent vehicle for students to discover both science and art.
