Abstract

Computer and network security is a growing concern to all organizations and individuals worldwide. Information security is a critical part of information and communication technology infrastructure. Computer forensics can play an indispensable role in computer and network security, information assurance, law enforcement, national defense, etc. Computer forensics courses are a necessary addition to computer and network security education. This paper presents a proposal for a computer forensics minor curriculum, the rational behind the proposal and the course descriptions.
