Abstract

Innovations in information technology have revolutionized business practices over the past decade. Commensurate changes in military practices have been much slower in coming.ï戮 ï戮 There now appears to be broad agreement, however, that a revolution in military affairs may be at hand.ï戮 ï戮 This article reviews these overall trends and their implications for military operations, particularly in terms of likely impacts on human effectiveness in general, and human decision making in particular.
