The TV environment is not so different from any other grid computing scenario, as different TV channels can need to share multimedia information and resources to achieve some specific purposes on time. In this paper, we present a web service specification to manage awareness in collaborative grid environments, WS-AMBLE. This specification has been designed by merging web services with multi-agents theories and principles to provide an autonomous, efficient and independent management of the amount of resources available in TV environment. WSAMBLE implementation makes easier the collaboration and cooperation among different TV channels. In this paper, we also present some experimental results carried out over a real and heterogeneous grid environment with the end of emphasizing the performance improvements that WS-AMBLE has in a Grid-TV environment.
