Technology holds great potential for improvements in the field of health care used in intelligent environments, with homes becoming the centers for proactive health care. Smart health care systems at home can be used to provide such solutions. A technology-assisted smart health care system would enable elderly people to lead their independent lifestyle away from hospitals and also avoid having expensive caregivers. In this paper, we present one such solution where a prediction model in an intelligent smart home system can be used for identifying health trends over time and enable prediction of future trends which can aid in providing preventive measures.
