Abstract

An integrated field monitoring system has been studied for sustainable and high quality production of agricultural products by applying some kinds of sensing and information techniques to acquiring and analyzing growth information of crops in cultivation process. Usually, such data are acquired by lots kinds of devices under the various conditions for the huge cultivars. Hence, the criteria for the database construction and the analysis of the information should be necessary. This study is conducted under the BIX (the abbreviation of BioInformation eXchange) concept [1]. This is the XML standard for the data exchange between sensed data of the information arising on the spot and database, and aims the standardization of the format on all information arising on the spot by opening the format to the public (Figure 1).
