In this work we propose an approach for estimating the deposition of retardant in vegetation during fire fighting by aerial dropping. Firstly we define the geometrical structure of a tree using fractal interpolation. Once this structure has been defined a mesh is constructed and the flow of retardant is then computed using a simple V.O.F. model. Estimation of the quantity of retained liquid is calculated with a so called ''dripping model''. The results of the two approaches are compared and it is shown that they provide coherent results.
