Abstract

This paper presents a content-based copy detection (CBCD) technologies demonstrator. It is composed mainly of a graphical user interface connected to two existing CBCD systems (developed by INRIA and INA), one for still images and one for videos. The graphical interface allows the user to either browse and visualize previously computed results or to perform interactive retrieval by sending a query document to the CBCD systems (used as remote servers). The GUI has dedicated functionalities such as synchronous playing of videos, (with desynchronisation and resynchronisation options), dual sound control, multi-session mode, interactive navigation in multiple detections, etc. The interactive video retrieval is faster than real time with a 1000 hours video corpus and the interactive image retrieval works with about 5000 images. Two demo scenarios allowing the user to create its own queries will be demonstrated: one using a professional editing software for video sequences and one using printed photographs and a digital camera for still images.
