Abstract

This paper introduces implicit speech recognition, where we focus on extracting features such as speaker identities, speaking rate, emotion and transcriptions from utterance spoken between people. Such technologies can increase one's productivity, especially in enhancing the efficiency of meetings and education. We have incorporated this technology into Microsoft Outlook to assist the processing of voicemails.
