Abstract

This paper presents a methodology for authoring Educational Multimedia content using story telling as the underlying pedagogical technique. It introduces Movement Oriented Design (MOD) to provide a systematic framework for developing Educational Multimedia narratives using good story telling principles. A stage-by-stage process for developing and refining Educational Multimedia stories is described. This process includes conducting workshops for brainstorming the narrative of an Educational Multimedia story, and then improving it through feedback.
