Abstract

The advances made in technology have unchained the user from thedesktop into interactions where access is anywhere, anytime. Inaddition, the introduction of ubiquitous computing (ubicomp) willsee further changes in how we interact with technology and alsosocially. Ubicomp evokes a near future in which humans will besurrounded by "always-on," unobtrusive, interconnected intelligentobjects where information is exchanged seamlessly. This seamlessexchange of information has vast social implications, in particularthe protection and management of personal information. Thisresearch project investigates the concepts of trust and privacyissues specifically related to the exchange of e-voting informationwhen using a ubicomp type system.
