Web Service has become a popular approach for software system integration. A Web Service may be invoked by other Web Services or users and the way for interacting with users or other services should be different. When interacting with a user, it is necessary to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) to obtain the input information. Users may access the Web Service from different devices. To manually develop various user interfaces for Web Services adds additional burdens to the service designers. In this paper, an adaptive user interface generation framework is presented. The framework takes the WSDL interface specification together with some additional but optional interface design related information for adaptive GUI generation.
