Steganograhic techniques are used for hiding important information in a visible media. Existing techniques are normally executed in an offline fashion and the requirement of real time execution has potentially a number of new security applications. In this paper, a real time steganographic device is designed and implemented. This paper will first give a feasibility study on selecting appropriate techniques for real time document, image and video applications. A FPGA has been used to implement the techniques and a video testing station was setup to test the device performance.
