Based on maximal slack first, this paper proposes a novel energy-efficient scheduling algorithm for periodic real time tasks. The scheduling solution combines static priority and dynamic speed adjustment mechanism to save energy. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other major scheduling schemes.
