In a Wireless Sensor Network, it is important to be able to maintain a sufficient level of coveragefor a given target area. This paper addresses the problem of determining how manyand whereto place additional sensor nodes in order to increase the coverage from kto k+ 1. Several possible candidate solution methods for this problem are proposed and evaluated using theoretical and simulation-based analysis.
