Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the transport capacity characteristic of VANET in 802.11. Based on these, the collision and interference of VANET are also studied. A probability analysis model is applied in VANET. The number of collision/interference source impacted packets transmission-receive according to the probability model. A new scheme –one hop one channel, is proposed for multi-interface routing in VANET. One hop one channel can reduce collision/interference source efficiently. The simulation also proved that the probability of one hop one channel is lower. As it is, delay of one hop one channel is shorter.
