The interest in mobile computing is growing leaps and bounds as the number of users as well as the type of users are ever increasing. This has motivated researchers to enhance the existing ways in which user obtain services. With the convergence of Internet and wireless technologies, a new area of Location Dependent Data Services has emerged. This paper, proposes a systematic study of the location dependent data services. Location dependent data value is highly dependent on the location of the user and location of the data. Thus a scheme is proposed which keeps track of user location and data for each location. Location based information dissemination with its functional and operational features are presented in this paper.
