Semantic caching is particularly efficient for the mobile computing environment because of the reduced network traffic and the improved response time. The previous work lacks the index to the semantic cache. This paper extends the traditional management on semantic cache in three ways: a quadtree-based index structure to semantic caches is provided, a query processing strategy is presented and the object-oriented implementation of the semantic caching is discussed. Also, the comparative performance analyses are examined through a simulation study.
