The design of a tangible interface for expressive interactions is presented. It is based on a head shaped resin with several holes and equipped with a camera inside the shape. Interaction recognition is based on image analysis and is preceded by a geometry and video calibration procedure. Three experiments of using the interface for facial expression synthsis are described: they rely on a mapping between face zones and expresssions.
