Abstract

This paper presents the drive solution, the requirements for dynamic behaviour of the speed regulated drives and the automation structure for a stretch-reducing mill for seamless having 28 rolling stands organised in three separate functional groups. The application have been designed, executed and putted into operation in a seamless tube mill modernised in the last years.
