Abstract

This paper describes the research on the structure of multimedia contents in the knowledge base of the Multimedia Knowledge Base E-Learning (MKBe-Learning) System [1]. The Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) [2] of the MKBe-Learning System identified the structure of the knowledge base to represent the lessons created by lecturers and the reusable contents of a subject. This is represented in the Instructional View and Knowledge View of the knowledge base. The initial contents developed for Basic Electronics [3] demonstrates these representations and the analysis of the results is given on the content structure and the categorization of contents in the knowledge base.
