Abstract

This article considers the quadratic stability problem of uncertain descriptor systems. The underlying system may be subjected to linear fractional uncertainties both in the derivative matrix and in the state matrix. Furthermore, the rank of the derivative matrix may change with respect to the uncertainties. By using an S-procedure and sum-of-squares technique, a sufficient condition on the quadratic stability problem of such type of uncertain descriptor systems is presented. An illustrative example is explored to sustain the findings of this article.
