Abstract

In the paper a multidimensional data model called CULTEH is built. In the model are defined the dimensions, the hierarchies and the facts. Based on this model an OLAP cube called CUBECTH is built. The OLAP cube accepts queries on several dimensions and hierarchies. OLAP operations are used for performing an analysis of some economic features of the agricultural production for a period of 5 years and 12 levels of agricultural production. The economic features include cropping systems, crops, types of farmers and fertilizers consumption.
