Psychological values describe what is important to a person in life and values are also essential in persuading users. In this paper, we provide a sentence completion tool for identifying user values and demonstrate its use in a case study. The goal of the case study was to identify parents' values related to children's exercise to get first ideas for a game for children. Raising children is particularly value loaded from parents' point of view. Thus, in order to design a persuasive game that activates children to exercise, it is necessary to understand both what is important to children themselves and what is desirable from parents' point of view. The results show that the sentence completion tool helps users to describe their hidden values in their own words and provides important insights for concept design.
