This article presents our concept of an artificial hormone system for realizing a completely decentralized self-organizing task allocation using self-X properties. We present our newest theoretical and practical research results: we introduce a new and improved upper bound for self-configuration and self-healing, and show first test series that illustrate the timing behavior of self-configuration and self-healing.
