This paper describes an algorithm for detecting and diagnosing crash and value faulty sensor nodes in a multi-hop wireless sensor network. The value fault model captures the faulty sensor nodes that produce erroneous value while processing the binary content of the data packet or the nodes, which have their remaining battery energy below certain threshold. The algorithm is evaluated using well-known diagnostic measures: diagnostic latency and message complexity.
