Banking frauds are very frequent today specially in those countries where the use of cash is very typical. Bank institutions are continuously receiving claims from victims of this type of crimes and the only thing they can do on this respect is to inform their security employees and clients about these modus operandi after having discovered them. As a consequence, a great quantity of information about the crimes, including video recording in which the delinquents appear, is accumulated and handled separately for each financial institution. In this sense, a way to integrate this information distributed around the bank institutions would be necessary because the more information you get about similar crimes, the better you can prevent the fraud. Therefore, an "intelligent" system capable to prevent the crime using all the information registered by the bank institutions according their experiences it will be very useful for these institutions with the aim to increment the client safety. On the other hand, Grid Computing emerged in the mid 1990s as an alternative to design distributed computing infrastructure for sharing resources to increase the computational capacities in the environment. This paper presents a new proposal for sharing banking frauds knowledge by means of Grid-based infrastructure. This framework includes services with biometric techniques facilities to make the fraud detection easier and more efficient.
