This paper presents an approach that enable non-specialist to generate an interactive 3D scene by using simplified language descriptions. This prototype system is based on the integration of advances in computer graphics and text-to-visualization technology to generate 3D virtual environment. We explore the potential and the limitations of the binding between VRML and Java technologies for generating the interactive virtual worlds, and especially focus on how to integrate Java, VRML and XML technologies to overcome the limitations and to construct our graphic representation system.
