Visual perception relies on perceptual constancy to guide motor behavior. This constancy can be assimilated to topological invariance extracted from visual exploration of the surrounding. In this paper, gaze behavior data coming from an experiment conducted in virtual immersion are analyzed to better understand their nonlinear properties. Results point toward an explanation of the process of perceptual visual invariance extraction in terms of fractal dynamics.
