Abstract

This paper gives an overview of how the FSM (finite state machine) decomposition techniques coupled with FPGA (field-programmable gate array) technology are integrated into digital design educational process at Tallinn University of Technology (TUT). Paper describes software, equipment and methodology for teaching decomposition-based logic design.
