In this paper we study the performance of a wireless sensor network aided indoor positioning system. For a well established localization algorithm, we characterize the distribution of localization error in terms of a metric pair, accuracy and precision, with respect to the sensor density when the system is subject to a fading radio model. Simulation results confirm the correctness of our derivation.
