Abstract

Schedulability of distributed real-time applications has been an intensive research topic in the last years as embedded devices have become more and more powerful in terms of computing power, memory and communication resources. Many solutions have been proposed, yet no one has achieved sufficient relevance. This paper describes a novel framework for distributed real-time embedded systems scheduling inspired in modern operating system schedulers and multi-CPU systems. Moreover, the proposed architecture enables optimization and provides flexibility, good scalability and adaptability.
