Both Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) and Fuzzy Systems are intended as cognitively more plausible approaches to problem-solving and learning. The two corresponding fields have emphasized different aspects that complement each other in a reasonable way. In the present paper we introduce a fuzzy model for the representation of a CBR system, which is based on the formalization of CBR as a four steps process (retrieve, reuse, revise, retain). An application is also presented to illustrate our results.
