Abstract

A novel temperature effect cancellation circuit is presented for ring oscillators. In the proposed circuit, the stages are the same, but the role of the devices is reversed. Experiments show that compared to the last competitive architectures, the proposed circuit is of important concern. The proposed architecture was simulated in 0.35µm CMOS technology where the temperature varied from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, resulting in only 1% of frequency deviations.
