The extracorporeal circulation is the system used to substitute heart and lungs functions during cardiac surgeries. The training of professionals who work with the also called artificial heart-lung is based on theoretical and practical activities under assisted monitoring during the surgeries. There is a lack of a simulated system where the pupil could train in a free way and without risks to the patient. The few existing hydraulical simulators are used in experiments or benches tests, having presented little applicability as education method. The present study aims to present the project that has for purpose, accordingly with the above discussed, explore the Ajax3D programming method through the creation of a 3D simulator of extracorporeal simulation's procedure focused on training and continued education of this kind of activity. Ajax3D is still little used and joins the power of X3D language with the convenience of the Ajax method. X3D is an open ISO format that has become reference in animated 3D contents in the Web. One of its basis is the interoperability with the Web architecture, which allows the use of techniques, as the Ajax programming method, for aid in the improvement of the interactivity with the user.
