The paper presents the possibility to control a pump arm using fuzzy systems. A three-phase induction motor is controlled using a vectorial control and fuzzy logic controllers with three and five linguistic labels. It is realized an analogy between a PI controller and a fuzzy controller. The simulations using such of controllers highlighted the advantages of using a fuzzy controller: increasing responding time of induction motor speed and respectively the stator current limitation of the used induction motor.
