Abstract

The main aim of this contribution is to analyze in certain details from a computational positions and to illustrate by three examples taken from the field of interactive art the phenomenon of emergence of creativity in non-homogenous - particularly in man-machine - societies. The emergence test proposed by Roland, Sipper and Capcarrere in the journal Artificial Life in 1999 will be applied for deciding whether the phenomena under our considerations are emergent or not, so not only in a traditional context of a society of artificial agents, but for human-machine societies.
