Abstract

As a new research area, mobile learning has become an emerging tool for teaching. Mobile Learning theory and practical application research has significance on mobile learning and learning society. The thesis discusses background of the mobile learning, theoretical foundation and practical applications. According to various theoretical foundations, mobile devices, corresponding learning resources, learning style and other factors, the mode of mobile learning can be divided into four categories: regularity of forgetting based refresher learning, Pleasant Education based Game Learning, discussion based cooperative learning and search engines based inquiry learning. The four learning mode above have been put into practice in education and can provide some reference for carrying out mobile learning in the future.
