Seq1 is a prototype of a music sequencer that is intended for aleatoric soundscape creation as well as live performance. Physically it consists of a front end which is a multitouch table with a computer running custom software and a back end running sound synthesis. Attention has been paid for low latency operation, good mapping capabilities and a gentle learning curve.
