Abstract

In the paper some ideas of studying multivariable control design is presented and illustrated through hierarchically structured project example. Introduced hierarchy enables students some freedom in choosing between different possibilities of studying and passing the examination. This freedom seems suitable for the lectures near the end of the study when students posses enough basic knowledge from the field. On the other hand this kind of work can motivate them to continue the project in different directions as for example some student's competition or even diploma.
