Abstract

Challenging and complex virtual reality or mixed reality applications are likely to profit from Quality of Service schemes if they are used in distributed mode e.g. via the Internet. However, even though Quality of Service architectures have been developed decades ago, multimedia software developers will seldom integrate them in their application efficiently. In our paper, we present a reference-suite for networked mixed reality applications which includes an interface to Integrated Services and Differentiated Services.
