Abstract

Web accessibility is essential for access to government information and services on Internet. However, the lack of conformity with accessibility guidelines creates barriers to access for persons with disabilities. Moreover, the conformity with these guidelines does not ensure usability of the websites. Thus, this paper presents the current stage of the work investigation over the relationship between accessibility and usability of Brazilian government websites for visually impaired people.
